Ovartka is the placement of displacementary defences around the person.
It is considered a high level Edeva skill.
First developed by the Ori after the split
from the altera, Stevenson believes that he
should not have been able to produce such an
effect this early in his development, but as
pointed out by the last remaining ascended Ori,
turned Rivera, the Universe does not conform to
preset ideals and as such will further develop
when stressed.
The growth of Ovartka skills is seen as the
first stage of the rise of the Juntar, a person
capable of reaching across the dimensional
divide into Alfheym and killing ascended beings.
It is involved with the release of Bio-plasma
and as such is seen as dangerous by the ascended
and the Originals and the person producing such
Bio-energy is to be destroyed.
